Price Increase for .WS Domains - INCREASE

The official registry of .WS has increased their pricing. As a result, starting January 1, 2013, the following prices for .WS domains will be effective:

 

.EU new Trade and Transfer Procedure and Authorization Code handling - API CHANGE

As of immediately updating your .EU Domains to a new registrant is free of charge. As of December 5, 2012 at 10:00 UTC you have to use a simple ModifyDomain command in order to change the registrant. The TradeDomain command will then not be supported any more.

As announced in our last newsletter EURid has implemented a new Transfer procedure.  The new .EU Transfer procedure took effect on November 21, 2012. All .EU Domains will remain locked for the time being.  The registry does not allow to set dedicated auth codes. But whenever you UNLOCK an .EU Domains we will automatically request an auth. code for the respective domain which will be generated by the registry and will be valid for 40 days.  If you do not transfer your domain within 40 days the auth. code will become invalid and the domain will be locked again.  Please UNLOCK your domain in order to receive a valid auth. code.

 

2-Character .TC Premium Domains - NO LONGER "PREMIUM" DOMAINS

AdamsNames (the registry operator for .GD, .VG and .TC) has been going through a number of organizational changes recently.  One of these changes elevated one and two character TC domains into "PREMIUM" status resulting in higher renewal pricing for said domains.

In a reversal, AdamsNames has decided to only make one (1) character .TC domains "Premium", and keep two (2) character .TC domains as regular with regular pricing.  Upon this notice, HEXONET immediately changed all two (2) character .TC domain pricing back to its regular rate. 

Many apologies for any inconvenience the original notice and subsequently the change notice for two (2) character .TC domains may have caused.  These notices were strictly based on AdamsNames policy directly and HEXONET has no part in either decision.

 

New Registrations for .TC Domains Opens Again on December 4th 2012

As of December 4, 2012, you will once again be able to register new .TC Domains at regular pricing.

 

.CO Reseller Tools

The Control Panel's Marketing Center now has several .CO marketing and graphical materials for our resellers.  Please login to the Control Panel and navigate to "Tools --> Marketing Center".  There you will find various different marketing materials to help you drive sales.

 

Changes to .CO.ZA Transfers & Restores

On December 4, 2012 the official registry for .ZA will modify the handling of transfers.  As of December 4, 2012 Domain Transfers between registrars will be free of charge and the registration period will remain the same.

In addition to the change in the transfer procedure the registry will allow .CO.ZA Domains to be restored.  The restore fee in all reseller price classes is 476.00 (net: 400.00) ZAR and includes the actual restore + renewal of the domain.
